Package content may vary slightly from track to track.
It's essential to follow these guidelines to build the correct package.
It is forbidden to add your contact and personal information to the archive files (ID3
tags, metadata, filenames, etc.).
The archive must contain ONLY the files mentioned below.
These are the fundamental package folders:
Extended Mix (so-called Original mix)
Place mastered WAV (44.1kHz 16 bit) and mastered MP3 (320 kbps)
Radio Mix
Place mastered WAV (44.1kHz 16 bit) and mastered MP3 (320 kbps)
Make a radio mix only if your track has an extended intro and outro aimed for DJ
mixing.
The radio version usually goes around 2-3 minutes.
It doesn't mean that its primary purpose is a radio play.
For example, if you produced a 5 min tech-house track, it would be great for the
buyer to upload a short 2 min version to streaming services and social media instead
of a long-extended DJ intro and outro.
We require both extended and radio mix for the tracks in these genres:
Instrumental Mix
Place mastered WAV (44.1kHz 16 bit) and mastered MP3 (320 kbps)
The instrumental mix is only required when vocals are present in a track.
Even if it's a vocal chop or a short one-shot sample, our clients prefer to have a
separate instrumental version.
Unmastered Mixes
Place unmastered WAV (44.1kHz 16 bit) of each track version (extended, radio,
instrumental)
There should be no plugins on output (master) chain.
The true peak volume of unmastered files must be in between -3db to -6db.
MIDI
Place MIDI files of all melodic elements used, like Bass, Lead, Pad, Arp, Synth,
etc.
Every MIDI must be correctly named: Arp.midi, Lead.midi, Bass.midi, etc.
Stems
Place unmastered multi-track WAV stems (44.1kHz 16 bit)
The minimum number of stems is 10.
When exporting stems, turn OFF all plugins on the MASTER channel.
Every stem should be rendered for the whole length of the track.
There should not be any empty stems. Double-check that before making a package.
Do not group stems as we need each stem separately.
If you've used groups for mixing purposes, you have to create an Ungrouped folder
inside the Stems folder and put ungrouped stems there.
Every stem must be correctly named: Kick.wav, Lead.wav,
Bass.wav, HiHat1, HiHat2, etc.
This is a prime example of how a package should be structured. Explore it,
and have good sales!
